After the post-pandemic RTO push, only a small group of Indian companies have stayed genuinely remote. Here's the list.
Most Indian companies that "went remote" in 2020 have quietly returned to hybrid or full RTO. The genuinely-remote-still list in 2026 is smaller than you'd guess: Postman, Razorpay (engineering), GitLab India, Atlassian India, plus a long tail of dev-tools startups. The pattern: developer-tools companies and infrastructure plays stayed remote. Consumer-facing companies and any business with a strong sales motion pulled back. If working remote is a hard requirement, your search universe is roughly 200-300 Indian companies, not 30,000.
